From the “Anime fragmenta” series.

This pictorial series is born from the restlessness and fragile beauty of
memory, understood not as a simple archive of the past, but as an ever-changing emotional
space. The works explore what memories leave within us: traces, sensations, and states of
mind that resurface in ways that are often imprecise, yet profoundly authentic.

Blue envelops the figures like a mental space, an interior place where time expands and
memories lose their sharp edges to transform into emotion.

Inside Out serves as both the opening and closing work of the series, thanks to its dual
conceptual and emotional interpretation.

In the work, the lower portion appears sharper and more defined, while the upper portion is
blurrier, evoking the dimension of the soul. The suggested movement doesn’t clarify the
direction of the latter: it is impossible to determine whether the soul is moving away from the
body or returning to it. This ambiguity leaves room for free interpretation by the viewer, who
projects their current state of mind into the scene.

The series thus moves between abandonment and rebirth, between loss and regeneration,
offering an intimate space in which memory, emotion, and identity intertwine, inviting the
viewer to recognize themselves in their own memories and fragilities.
